Discover Louise Farrenc’s Symphony No. 2, an inventive orchestral masterwork overlooked for too long. The only woman appointed professor of piano at the Paris Conservatoire in the 19th Century, Farrenc carved out an enviable career but never received the recognition of her male counterparts.
