Shawn Spicer, London Symphonia’s principal trumpet and concert curator, arranger, performer and leader lifts the curtain on musical transformation with some of the most beautiful and inventive music ever written. His arrangements elevate the original music to something more powerful and touching. Highlights of the program include the sublime fugue writing of J.S. Bach alongside the tongue in cheek writing of P.D.Q. Bach. Contemporary pop tunes by brilliant creators Amy Winehouse and Macklemore add a modern twist. Performed by London Symphonia Winds, Brass and Percussion. Shawn Spicer and Scott Harrison conduct.
