A thrilling concert featuring classical music superstar James Ehnes, violinist, and the gifted conductor and communicator, Daniel Bartholomew-Poyser, performing music by two giants, Ludwig van Beethoven and Johannes Brahms. Ehnes performs Brahms’ Violin Concerto, a work that is demanding for both the soloist and the members of the orchestra. Beethoven’s Symphony No. 2, full of fire and energy, rounds off the program. Daniel Bartholomew-Poyser conducts.
